New Can Studios represents the collaborative output of high-productivity artists Cal Haines and Victoria Rogers. Before combining energies, both Cal and Victoria were exhibiting photographers. Cal’s imagination and skills take form from his life as a jazz drummer and semi-conductor engineer. Victoria’s ongoing romance with color, communication and perspectives inspire her vision.

Together, something completely new occurs …

Have a look at Websites and Graphics for links to examples of our website design and samples of graphics.

In the fine art web gallery, the internet doesn't do justice to the beauty and subtlety of Victoria's Landscapes (archived in the New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts collections) or vibrancy and contrast of color in the Abstracts or palette and mood of the Architecture series, but it's alright as an introduction. Our displayable imagery is inkjet-printed in standard or custom sizes on archival heavyweight cotton rag paper or other surfaces, such as canvas, by request. The prints are gorgeous and sensual to the touch and the eye. Complete theme collections are available boxed.

Commissions are invited. We are always interested in being challenged with a personal or commercial interior design project for which decor and artwork is made to complement a particular environment. See us as the Featured Artisans in the December 2009 archived issue of a design ezine called Diisynology.com and linked catalog at ArtisanDiisyn.com.  Albuquerque The Magazine also featured us in an article titled "Graphic Jazz" (June 2009).

While our offices and gallery are located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, our duo is available to provide services anywhere, worldwide. That's right.

Please be in touch and let us discuss what we have for you. And – by the way – we’re price-friendly!

Artists Cal Haines and Victoria Rogers collaborated to create a contemporary look at the
old architecture of buildings in downtown Santa Fe's McKenzie Historic Neighborhood.
The photographic images reinterpretted through digital processes stand alone as fine art
but collectively give definition to the styles prevalent in the late-1800s and early-1900s
when this area was settled by merchants and powerful entrepreneurs from Europe and
the Midwest. Details  unique to the structures are documented in a text by City of
Santa Fe Historic Division contributor David A. Rasch. This book is a treasure both for
the imaginative visions and informative content, plus other fun design and color
    innovation.
